Dells Vacation

We had a great time in the Dells. Both of my girls didn't want to leave. "Vacation! Vacation!" It was well-spent family time and Olivia & Madeleine got time to play with Trinity and Daniel. Cousins who live far away.

I am so proud of Olivia. Her water & swimming skills have advanced so much! She willingly goes under water and loves to do bobs. She also went down several waterslides. So proud! Before the trip, she'd never want to go underwater by herself. By the last day, she was wanting to swim without her lifejacket and wearing goggles so she coudl catch all the underwater action!

And Madeleine isn't too far behind. She hasn't been afraid of the water yet. She enjoyed the wave pool. The weightlessness feel of floating from the lifejacket and the swaying...she'd want to be left alone in the water to practic "reach & pull", "reach & pull". Her favorite was water geysers/fountains in the kiddie areas. She'd march over with her bucket and shovel and play for ever, just dumping water from one to the next.

The resort was great for all the kids. They had both indoor and outdoor waterparks and an indoor soft play area. There was one thundering, rainy morning and the dads were great about taking all the kids there. Us, moms got a morning at the spa! Oh to have every weekend start with spa treatments.

After all was said & done, I'm sad that I didn't get more pictures.
